Application:
A by-pass protein
and multi-mineral block for all livestock
Net Weight:
20kg
Feeding
Instructions:
Remove outer
carton and plastic cover and place near water troughs, dams and
stock camps. Place out sufficient blocks to avoid overcrowding of
stock. Initially, the consumption rate will be higher than average,
but higher rates of consumption will drop after an initial "gorging"
period. Replace immediately when consumed.
Consumption
Guide:
The following
rates will increase or decrease according to varying pasture conditions.
Cattle 20-30
g/head/day
Sheep 5-10 g/head/day

When to use Lactovite + High Iodine With Copper:
1. Iodine is ordered in double strength by those
who have observed a reduction in the incidence of foot abscess with
the use of iodine.
2. Copper is available for those areas where copper
is deficient.
LACTOVITE has a base of salt, cottonseed meal, calcium,
phosphorous and sulphur providing minerals required for bone development,
milk production and wool growth. Zinc, cobalt and iodine are all
in LACTOVITE blocks to provide rumen microbes, and the animal, with
essential minerals.
LACTOVITE has several actions. Where rumen fermentation
is inefficient because of mineral deficiency, there is an increase
in nutrients available from feed. This feed is often more digestible.
Where mineral deficiency has caused sickness in ewes or lambs, supplementation
reduces this incidence.
