When
to use BEEFMASTER:
Used to help
prevent the effects of Grass Tetany in cattle. Grass Tetany is still
the main cause of deaths of lactating beef cows in South East Australia.
It is commonly seen on sloping pastures but can spread onto the
plains when seasonal conditions favour its occurance.
The causes of
Grass Tetany are numerous but there is a direct relationship between
this disease and a deficiency of Magnesium as found in young, green
pastures. Supplementing cattle with magnesium, sodium and phosphorus
before and during the traditional Grass Tetany Season, will help
alleviate the effects of Grass Tetany.
