FEEDLOT CONCENTRATE

A COMPLETE FEEDLOT ADDITIVE FOR BEEF CATTLE

When to Use Feedlot Concentrate:

High grain diets have deficiencies which result in an imbalance of nutrients. Grains are usually naturally deficient is calcium, sodium, potassium, sulphur, trace minerals (usually copper, zinc and selenium in Australian grains) and Vitamins A and E. In order to obtain efficient feed conversion and to prevent disease occurring, it is necessary to correct any imbalances. A premix containing finely crushed limestone, salt, potassium, sulphur, trace minerals and vitamins is the most cost-effective method to do this. The feedlot industry and stud farms have found that the use of a premix guarantees greater weight gains. To the standard premix you may add protein supplements when required.

A good premix contains all the necessary nutrients which might otherwise be deficient in a feed ration. It guarantees maximum production from each dollar spent on feed. It reduces the incidence of illness commonly seen with high grain diets. In order to convert feed into body weight efficiently, ruminants must be supplied with a balanced cost effective ration.

Feedlot Concentrate is a complete concentrated form of minerals, vitamins and rumensin, designed to be added to beef feedlot grain rations.
