Protein PLUS

A concentrated loosemix supplement for beef cattle

Application:

A concentrated loosemix supplement for beef cattle

Net Weights:

20Kg

Directions for Use:

Mix with grain and roughage ration at 40kg/tonne, i.e. 4% of the ration. Do not exceed rate of 40kg/tonne. Introduce cattle to grain gradually. Sodium Bentonite at 20kg/tonne reduces the risk of acidosis. The concentrate and feed should be mixed well.

Urea Warning:

This preparation contains urea which is poisonous if taken in excessive quantities too quickly. Do not feed other urea supplements while feeding this product.

When to use Protein Plus:

Grain rations are deficient in some minerals and vitamins. Feeding excess grain can result in unhealthy animals due to acid build-up in the rumen.

The use of a correctly balanced premix, such as Protein Plus can overcome these problems.

When protein requirements are not met by the diet, Protein Plus in the correct amounts will increase the protein levels by 2.6%.

The addition of Bovatec or Rumensin to Protein Plus further improves feed efficiency by about 10%.

This will result in animals better utilising the nutrients out of their diet, faster weight increases and better feed conversion to meat.
